WELCOME TO LA MAISON DES CAROLINES
NEAR THE EYZIES, THE VILLAGE RISES ABOVE THE VEZERE WHICH FLOWS IN DORDOGNE 5 KM FARTHER.
THERE ARE A LOT OF CAVES WHICH NEEDS TO BE VISITED , THE NEAREST IS THE CAVE OF BARA-BAHAUT AND THE PROUMEYSSAC SINKHOLE
Bugue is an active village of its traders ( its tuesday’s market is very known in Dordogne) and rich of its artists. Isabelle Jacopin has there her workshop, open to everyone. Potter, glass designer, glassblower and other make Bugue an attractive and dynamic Dordogne village.
The Black Perigord aquarium and the village of Bournat are the must-see attractions. Starting with Bugue, many visits are possible: first, the superb and so famous medieval city of Sarlat, then riding car along the Dordogne River are just magic: the bastide of Domme village, the castles of Castelneau, Montfort, the fortified villages on the cliffs of Laroque-Gageac and Beynac will blow you away.
THE ORIGINALITY AND ATTRACTIVENESS OF OUR COTTAGE ARE TO BE CLOSE TO ALL THE AMENITIES OF THE VILLAGE
(SHOPS AND SERVICES) AND AT THE SAME TIME TO BE QUIET IN A GREENERY AREA, TREES AND FLOWERS (FENCED PARK)
